As a teacher myself with over 16 years of experience, my expectations were high and I am happy to report that Montessori World met my expectations, particularly because I wanted my son’s first encounters with education and time spent away from his parents to be safe, supportive, happy, and productive. Field trips are provided once a month to exciting places that are always connected to the learning outcomes students are presently working on. Social graces which include greeting others, shaking hands, making eye contact, and introducing oneself politely are just some examples of etiquette that have been reinforced by the school. The staff are kind and supportive, paying attention to his learning progress as well as to his emotional well-being. My son has transitioned from being a quiet and shy child to one who is much more verbal and confident. The large windows [in the classroom] allowing for natural light (as opposed to fluorescent light) in the building is nice to have, as some schools in the area do not have that option. The rooms are colourful, clean, and well-equipped with learning resources. I recommend this school without any hesitation. Schools are valuable places where we entrust our children to and Montessori World Preschool is an excellent choice. — Mrs. L. Tsoulos
I appreciate the teachers’ friendly and kind personalities. They have the most caring hearts and a devotion to each of the children like they are their own. I would highly recommend Montessori World to anyone who has children ready for preschool because it has a great school program, the best teachers, awesome monthly field trips, and warm school atmosphere which make it an excellent place for children to learn and make friends. - Ms. Esther W.
Our family had toured many preschools during their open houses, but we were immediately drawn to Montessori World because of the warmth of the staff and the incredibly beautiful classroom environment with its immaculate layout of materials and large windows allowing in a lot of natural light. We’ve had the pleasure of watching the children at work during observation times, and it was so magical to see preschool children so engaged in their tasks. In one corner, children were working with the math materials; on the carpet at the back of the classroom was a small group as they huddled with a teacher as they learned about the continents; some students were seated and working independently on their fine motor skills with the language materials while others were working with the practical life materials as they polished, folded, and poured. The entire time, the classroom atmosphere was extremely calm, and it was wonderful to see the teachers interacting with the children in a positive, reassuring, and encouraging manner. - Mrs. Hansen
